The shipping was fast, and all the parts arrived in tip-top shape. The motor is much smaller than I expected, just like the controller. It looks like I will have plenty of room in my chassis to fit all the parts. I did forget to order a charger though, so I bought one off amazon that should be here soon. In the meantime, I will be ripping the gas engine from the frame. I put my keys in the photo to show the small sizes.

The setup for my ride
I have chosen my final set up for my project. A 36 volt system with 1000 watts, which equals about 1.3 horsepower. But horsepower isn't everything. In terms of electric engines, torque is where they get their power, and the system I chose should be plenty fast. I plan on ordering on Monday, and installing as soon as possible. Getting the wiring down is going to be the hard part. Below is my order:
